Published: Nov 12th, 9:01 AM

‑ The Patriotic Youth Club at North Hunterdon High School is holding its fourth annual Toy Collection for New Jersey’s "little soldiers," children whose parents are serving in the military and will be deployed overseas during the holidays.

The collection started on Monday, Nov. 9, and will continue through Monday, Nov. 23.

Gift ideas include, gift cards from Target, Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, Best Buy; footballs, basketballs, soccer balls; cars, trucks, trains; baby dolls; children’s books; children’s hats and gloves.

Donations can be dropped off at the main office at North Hunterdon High School, Route 31, Annandale.

The Patriotic Youth Club will be giving the toys and gifts it has collected to the American Recreational Military Service (ARMS), which is a non-profit charity that provides services to local armories in New Jersey, support to area unit Family Readiness Groups, and direct assistance to family members in need. ARMS has received a wish list of three gifts from each child identified by an armory or battalion in New Jersey. ARMS will distribute the gifts and toys to these children of military families, hoping they can provide the children with all three gifts they wished for.
